Dedication of Wychwood Chapter Banner |

The Provincial Grand Superintendant, M.E.Companion Alan John Englefield and his officers dedicated the banner of Wychwood Chapter No.2414 at a special meeting of the Chapter held on Saturday 18th January at the Witney Masonic Centre. This being only the second Chapter Banner in the Province of Oxfordshire. However under the guidance of the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, E.Companion Malcolm Geater, the ceremony was carried out in an truly professional manner. The Provincial Third Grand Principle, E.Companion Don Perkins gave an interesting oration on the explanation and the meaning of the various aspects of the banner. The Companions then retired to the dining hall where a truly magnificent luncheon was enjoyed with much conviviality. |
